First Sugar Experiments

My first attempts at sugar spinning. They went horribly wrong and I tried several attempts. Not using a sugar thermometer is not a good idea as you can see the crystalized results below.

Preparing the work surface as it makes a lot of mess as you violently whisk hot sugar in the air around either chopsticks or pan handles.

Green gloopy and thick mess, not delicate sugar threads I was hoping for!
